Bloodchild

So far my favorite reading was Gracling, but I think the most interesting and outside the box reading was Bloodchild. I love the way that the reader could in an abstract way relate Bloodchild and the Reservation to real life. I also really like how Bloodchild presented an alternative world to the reader of what it would be like for men to also be responsible for giving life to children. Gan was going to be responsible for bearing the child of T'Gatoi which is a huge responsibility. I fell like through this story men get to realize how hard and what a big responsibility is it to be responsible to bring to life a child. Although I found this story hard to understand at first but after going back and really reading it not just for the words it easily became one of my favorite stories.
